Mini Course: Light, Art, and Installation with Dr. Nathan Timpano

Thursdays, May 29, June 5, and June 12, 11 – 12:30 PM

This 3-lecture series explores light art sculptures, installation art, and international precursors to the California Light and Space Movement in relation to the Norton's special exhibition Laddie John Dill: Eastern Standard Time In addition to examining Dill's works, the mini-course reviews art produced by the Uruguayan-Argentinian art group MADÍ, Dan Flavin, Dorothy and Mel Tanner, and James Turrell, among others.
