Subtropic Film Festival: The Python Hunter

Friday, November 7, 7 – 8:30 PM

The Norton is pleased once again to host the opening night of the Subtropic Film Festival. This cinematic takeover will be a celebration of independent cinema from South Florida and beyond! Join us for a screening of The Python Hunt (2025, Dir. Xander Robin). Every year, the Florida government invites the public to compete in an invasive python removal contest in the Everglades. For 10 nights, an eclectic group of hunters confronts the dangerous terrain, nocturnal creatures, and their own desires.

Cost: Museum Admission/Members FREE
