Jazz pianist Bill Mays and contrabassist Jamie Ousley take a sonic stroll through the galleries, interpreting their favorite artworks from the Norton’s Collection through music. Mussorgsky’s "Promenade" from Pictures at an Exhibition introduces and accompanies their journey, along with their improvisations on jazz and American Songbook standards from Miles Davis to Charles Mingus, and Irving Berlin to Billy Joel.
Cost: $35 (includes Museum Admission)/Members $15
Space is limited; online registration required. Walk-ins welcome if tickets remain on the day of the program. Registration opens one month in advance.
