Celebrate the art of storytelling as we explore how artists capture people, personality, and imagination through portraiture. This month, we’ll look closely at portraits in our permanent collection or in our Student Exhibition, Portrait Mode: Self-Reflections from Past, Present, and Future, discovering how artists share who someone is in creative and meaningful ways. Inspired by the faces and stories we encounter, families will create their own portrait-inspired artwork that reflects what makes each of us unique.
