Saturday, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
11 AM – 12:20 PM OR 1 – 2:20 PM
This month, we explore how animals, plants, and imaginary worlds help artists tell stories. Families will look at artworks across collections that use nature and creatures to spark ideas, emotion, and creativity. Then, inspired by what you see, create your own artwork full of imaginative creatures, patterns, and natural forms that tell a story all your own. Children ages 5 – 12, and their accompanying grown-ups, participate in a 15-minute spotlight tour, followed by a related art workshop.
This is a FREE program.
