Teacher Workshop: Connection to Clay
Thursday, April 11 / 4:30 - 6:30 PM
Join the Norton Museum of Art for a teacher workshop inspired by the special exhibition, Rose B. Simpson: Journeys of Clay. Discover how clay can be a vehicle to tell stories through art. Investigate how Simpson and her family members represent their ancestral knowledge, appreciate the process of creation, embrace imperfection, and use artmaking as an emotional outlet. Participants will enjoy a reflection and implementation session through a hands-on art activity using clay, led by a professional instructor. This workshop is designed for K - 12 educators from all subject areas and is eligible for credit.
Space is limited; online registration required.
