Program Details

Join artist and educator Shannon Walker in the galleries of the Norton to practice your drawing skills and build community with other local artists. Bring your own sketchbook (size limit of 11 x 14 inches) and pencils only please.

 

Monday, June 10 / 12:30 - 2 PM

Focus on Composition

This class will focus on the exhibition The Paper Trail: 500 Years of Prints from the Jonathan “Jack” Frost Collection.

 

Monday, July 8 / 12:30 – 2 PM

Gesture and Texture

This class will focus on the exhibition Rose B. Simpson: Journeys of Clay. 

 

Monday, August 12 / 12:30 – 2 PM

Portrait Drawings from the European Galleries

This class will focus on European art in the Norton’s third floor galleries.

 

Space is limited. Walk-ins are welcome if tickets remain on the day of the program. Registration opens one month in advance.
