Bemis will explore how our built environments influence mood, behavior, and well-being, shedding light on the intersection of neuroscience, design, and architecture. Learn to cut, texture, stamp, enamel, or polish brass or silver. No experience necessary.

Begin the class at 10 am with a Spotlight Tour at the Norton, then travel to the Armory Art Center (811 Park Place) for the workshop at 10:45 am. All Skill levels welcome. Ages 16+

Art with the Armory / Jewelry Making Workshop: Niki de Saint Phalle

Saturday, June 21, 10 AM – 1:30 PM

In collaboration with the Armory Art Center and in celebration of Artists' Jewelry: From Cubism to Pop, the Diane Venet Collection, create your own unique handmade charm inspired by Niki de Saint Phalle’s beautiful sculptures and jewelry! Learn to cut, texture, stamp, enamel, or polish brass or silver. No experience necessary.

Begin the class at 10 am with a Spotlight Tour at the Norton, then travel to the Armory Art Center (811 Park Place) for the workshop at 10:45 am. All Skill levels welcome. Ages 16+ 

Cost: $100 per person / $90 Members

Thursday, July 24, 1 – 4 PM

To celebrate Veiled Presence: The Hidden Mothers and Sara VanDerBeek, join Christine Ellinghausen to explore modern tintype photography on aluminum. Participants will create tintypes from historical photographs as well as from their own personal photos. All skill levels welcome. Ages 16+
